Steven M. Burris is the firm's founder and senior partner. He was born in Los Angeles, California on December 30, 1952. Mr. Burris received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University, with distinction, in 1975, and graduated from the University of Southern California Law Center, with honors, in 1978. He is admitted to practice law in Nevada and California. Mr. Burris is the co-author of "Trial Advocacy in Nevada," National Business Institute Press, 1992. Mr. Burris is currently the Attorney Panel Chairman and a member of the Medical-Dental Screening Panel for Southern Nevada. Mr. Burris' professional memberships include The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and The Nevada Trial Lawyers Association (President, 1998; President-elect, 1997; Vice-president, 1996; Board of Governors, 1992 to present). Mr. Burris' community service includes his work as a Director of the Las Vegas Senior Citizen Mobile Home Park Foundation, 1982-1984, and as the President of the Las Vegas Gideon Camp, 1988-1989.
